Simple Attic Loft Residence in Prague

Don’t let the title fool you. This attic loft in the Czech Republic is a historical piece of architecture that features a whole slew of natural materials, a large brick wall and white accents. Though originally built in the 1930s, this space has been renovated into a clean, contemporary work that really blends the past and present.

Large oak beams, steel mezzanine and railings with built in bookshelves for display are all great visual and functional elements, and there are plenty of unseen storage elements as well. Under stair storage is utilized for kitchen tools– including a wine cooler, and the built in shelving units are next to more under-cover cabinet units.
